Q: What are the rules or guidelines for posting in a thread or on a wiki?
A: The most basic rule of all is respect. For yourself, for your classmates, and for the greater social environment. It is always best to follow a simple rule when making an argument: Ask yourself the following quesitons:
  • Did I use an evidenciary example to establish my point?
  • Did I incorporate key terms from the text?
  • Did I explain the thought process that led to clearly?
  • Did I state my conclusion in an understandable manner?
Other than that, this is a place to provide examples from the text, from our own lives and experiences, and from other sites on the web that suppliment and support the ideas contained in the course.

Q: How do I monitor my grades?
A: For this class, I will be handing back your assignments fairly promptly (see syllabus). However, I will also be posting your marks via the Blackboard system on campus. You can access this through the Blackboard tab under MyCod. It will then be listed in your gradebook. The link to MyCod is:
